For those who fancy something a bit different on a Sunday join me for a nature walk and poetry workshop among some of the most dramatic landscapes in Shropshire. The Stiperstones is a ridge on the Long Mynd with quarzite outcrops including the Devil’s Chair and the Cranberry Rocks. The landscape and wildlife are spectacular. Expect to see meadow pipits, skylarks, red kites, possibly, plus heathers and wild cranberries.
The workshop will focus on ‘landscape’ and take the form of a walk from the Bog Centre car park up to the Cranberry Rocks with stop points to look and see, for notemaking. We shall end up at the Bog Visitor Centre which offers snacks, drinks and gifts. Please bring boots and sensible clothing. Tickets £12/ £10.
